To become a member, you must have an existing business in any value chain of the agri-food landscape in any African country with a verifiable weblink (website, social media profile link). All you need to do is navigate to the entrepreneurs section on the hub or follow the link below.

Once an entrepreneur profile information has been submitted, it takes 24-48 hours for the African Food Changemakers team to approve or contact you via email with follow up questions in order to verify your profile.

As a registered member you are granted access to:

  • Access and referrals to funders to scale your business

Exclusive invitations to training programs and access to members only content and resources.

Any African Food Changemakers user can contribute relevant information to content on the African Food Changemakers platform, however, the contribution would be subject to review by the African Food Changemakers team.

Unregistered African Food Changemakers users have general access to agri-food upcoming events, select data articles/journals, selected available funding opportunities.

African Food Changemakers provides information on funding opportunities specifically for agri-food businesses in Africa.

The African Food Changemakers hub has a range of additional features including data, knowledge and learning tools, talent match-making, African foods and chefs blogs, and a host of other resources needed to scale your businesses.

No. African Food Changemakers members are only agri-food businesses that have submitted a membership sign-up application, and have been verified by the African Food Changemakers team. You can complete the sign-up application here. You will be notified via email if your membership sign-up is approved.
